Bike/Ped Planning Activities in North Georgia

The North Georgia Regional Development Center, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation, provides bike and pedestrian facility planning assistance to local governments in the area.  The purpose is to improve facilities and provide safe, alternative ways to travel to work, schools, and recreation areas, and other activity centers.  As seen below, a number of plans have been completed.  Check this site regularly to keep informed regarding bicycling and pedestrian planning activity.
